This week we are changing over into our maths "NUMP" classes. Some children will move to another room for maths number sessions - this is so they are learning at the level that they need to be at. These groupings will change throughout the year.
We had J.E.T ( junior exploration time ) last week for the first time - the children choose from an array of activies, expectations are set prior to the session by the children, then these are evaluated at the end of the time. More often than not the children are so engrossed in what they are doing that they are not aware of the learning that is happening.
Jorja and Danika enjoying the crackers that they buttered themselves. |
William, Blake and Rhys experimenting with more than one person in the Dizzy Lizzy. Could they make it spin? |
Tuesday we have Rita Palmer visiting our class rooms. Rita is a literacy advisor and she will be working with teachers during the year.
Have a great learning week.
Annette
